About Robin:

Robin works with children and adolescents ages 2 to 17 and their families. She has over 15 years experience in the field. She has worked in the school system as well as inpatient and partial hospital programs. She specializes in trauma and attachment issues. Robin has an advanced certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor with an Advanced Certificate of trauma Play Therapy, and has completed training for EMDR with a focus on children and adolescents. She also works with depression, ADHD, family and anxiety issues.

Robin has worked with the state foster care system, court issues and adoption issues. Many parents come to her office seeking help with behavioral issues. It is her belief due to her areas of study and experience that behavioral issues are symptoms of underlying issues that need to be addressed.

Robin’s focus is helping her clients and their families gain knowledge and skills to address underlying issues. Her goal is to help children understand and express themselves in ways that don’t cause them more trouble. She believes each child is unique and treatment should be built to embrace them.

She currently works in the Council Bluffs office location, as well as offering telehealth services.
